TOP VALENCIA WEDDING VENUES TO SUIT EVERY STYLE AND BUDGET

Updated: Sep 10

Planning a wedding in Valencia, Spain? You're in for a treat because Valencia wedding venues are some of the most stunning and diverse you'll find anywhere. There's a little bit of everything here, from historic palaces for a big bash to cool city spots or even beachside venues. You'll find something that's perfect for you.

Finding the right place can be tricky, but that's where I come in. I've been a wedding celebrant in Spain for some while, especially in the Valencia region. I've seen the best of the best when it comes to Valencia wedding venues of all styles and sizes.

Why Choose Valencia for Your Wedding?

Let’s be honest—when it comes to planning a wedding in Spain, there’s no shortage of stunning locations. But if you're looking for a place that perfectly blends history, culture, and gorgeous weather, then Valencia wedding venues are where it’s at! From the moment you step foot in this vibrant city, you’ll be swept away by its charm. Whether you're dreaming of a classic Spanish wedding or something with a modern twist, Valencia has something for everyone.

Plus, one of the best things about having a wedding in Valencia, Spain is the variety. You can say your vows in a centuries-old venue with stunning architecture or choose a sleek, contemporary setting that feels straight out of a magazine. And let’s not forget about the food—Valencia is the birthplace of paella, after all! Imagine treating your guests to a delicious, authentic Spanish feast as they celebrate your love.

Best Time of Year to Get Married in Valencia

Now, let’s talk timing. One of the biggest perks of getting married in Valencia is the amazing weather. This city enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, which means you’ve got loads of sunny days to choose from. April through October are typically ideal, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. However, if you're not accustomed to hot weather, July and August might be a bit too warm, so consider the shoulder seasons for a more pleasant experience.

But here’s a little insider tip: While summer is beautiful, it’s also the peak tourist season, which can make things a bit pricier. If you’re looking to save a little without sacrificing that sunny weather, consider the shoulder months—April, May, September, and October. You’ll still get all the perks of Valencia’s beautiful climate, but with fewer crowds and better deals.

Types of Wedding Venues in Valencia

Okay, now that we've covered the 'when', let's move on to the 'where'. With luxurious spots, places steeped in history, and even venues that feel like they're from the future, you'll be spoiled for choice!

If you're into something a bit more private, but still breathtakingly beautiful, then Tancat de l'Albufera might be your spot. It's tucked away in the Albufera de Valencia Natural Park, a mix of history and stunning nature. This place used to be a rice dryer, complete with a Moorish oven and a stable! El Telar de Miguel Martí

Let's take a trip back in time at El Telar de Miguel Martí. It's a beautifully restored medieval loom, right on the Moncada irrigation channel. This place dates back to the 12th century! It's a cool mix of ancient history and modern luxury. Chef Miguel Martí did an amazing job keeping the history alive while adding all the modern touches you'd want.

El Telar can fit a crowd—up to 460 guests! There's a garden with a pool, a porch, and even a backyard with a greenhouse. Perfect for an outdoor cocktail party, right? And the tech stuff? Top-notch. They've got high-tech audiovisual equipment and even charging points for electric cars. Your big day will run smoothly here.

La Cartuja de Ara Christi

Now, if you want a venue that's not just historic but also feels super special, then La Cartuja de Ara Christi is the one. This 17th-century monastery is a protected landmark and one of the most exclusive event spaces in the whole Valencia area. Gourmet Catering & Espacios manages it, so you know it's top-notch.

Picture this: your wedding surrounded by beautiful gardens. The monastery has six different spaces that they can customize just for you. Countryside Valencia Wedding Venues

Masía Aldamar

If you’re dreaming of a wedding in Valencia, Spain that’s surrounded by nature and steeped in history, the countryside around Valencia offers some truly enchanting options. One of my personal favorites has to be Masía Aldamar. This place is just beautiful—it mixes rustic charm with a touch of historical elegance. You can practically feel the history when you walk around, which goes all the way back to the 1600s.

It used to be an inn on the old road between Madrid and Valencia. Later on, it became a big farm, with vineyards, olive trees, and fruit trees. You can still see bits of its past, like old wineries and oil mills, which add so much character. And don't forget about the garden, it's over a hundred years old and perfect for those romantic wedding photos!
